To support our physical operations, we have developed industry standard ICT solutions, which include:

• A custom modular software package (using a combination of 6 mainstream programming languages) that integrates all aspects of a WEEE collection, assessment and onward processing. Current modules include clients & contacts, accounts, invoicing, asset tracking, sales tools and bar code labels/stock lists. All software is server based, highly flexible and has been well tested. Our main database is connected to a clients area on our web site to provide asset list downloads and record collection requests.

• The use of robust hand held Pocket PC based technology (with incorporated barcode capture) to provide convenient item tracking in any location/situation. Auto updating to main database.

• Use of IP based video technology to aid core assessment.

• Web based software to create/maintain an online assessment, demanufacturing and hazardous waste resource.

Seek-it Ltd is committed to the well-being of the environment, not solely by developing and practising sustainable waste management techniques but also by assisting people and organisations. Our community projects include:

• Free or low cost WEEE collections to Public service organisations.

• Free or low cost availability of ITC equipment and associated skills (IT-Exchange).

• Running of therapeutic work schemes.

• Donation of bulk reconditioned second user ITC to UK based charities working in Africa.
