Assistance with large scale equipment deployment (roll-out)

rollout services We collect old equipment in parallel with the installation of new EEE. Our fully trained staff work in tandem with the organisation as it installs new equipment, removing EEE immediately it 's decommissioned. This type of operation is common during deployment of large quantities of IT equipment mainly in office buildings.

  • Reduces deployment time and costs - technicians focus on installation, equipment manhandling and disposal is our responsibility
  • Packing material removed too if required
  • Enhances Heath & Safety as redundant equipment does build up, blocking passages or interfering with the work environment.

Data Destruction

data destruction EEE can involve both the Data Protection Act and Software Piracy Act at the time of disposal. Seek-it is highly experienced in the permanent removal of data from a wide range of magnetic media. Our reputation has been firmly established over many years, carrying out tight data destruction services for raft of security conscientious organisations.

By request we can supply a destruction certificate to detail date, time, item type, destruction method and outcome when further assurance is required. In most cases we can arrange for destruction to be witnessed either on-site or via remote video link.

These services appeal to producers that want to strengthen their sales process and demonstrate they are acting responsibility with residual data at end of product life. Producer can either arrange and finance service or offer to the end user at an additional charge

Enhanced Reporting

Seek-it it offers a range on reports to ensure we match the reporting requirements for any situation.

  • Itemised - assists inventory & asset management, records make, model ,serial, WEEE category and unit weight.
  • Secure - records individual item information and mass balance data in order to prove demanufacture.
  • Hazardous -Appeals to organisations that want confirmation that Annex II and other hazardous materials have been removed and treated accordingly. Mass balance to various sub levels.

Enhanced reporting is aimed at producers that want to know more about EEE returns and treatment for a variety of motives such as security, CSR, Duty of Care and Asset tracking. Producer can either arrange and finance service or offer to the end user at an additional charge.

Flexible SLA

flexible The WEEE Regulations do not stipulate a reasonable time scale for producers to carry out Regulation 9 obligations. Our standard WEEE service is based on collection within 10 working day which we feel is fair compromise between cost and speed.

On occasions a 14 day service may not be practical due to either producer or end user issues. Seek-it offers flexible SLA options to cater for these circumstances.
